“Dopo” (dó·po) in Italian translates to “after”, but for us, it represents so much more.
After the closure of our beloved restaurant D.O.P, we knew that while we were saying goodbye to one chapter, it was also the perfect time to begin another. The decision to evolve was not an easy one, but it felt necessary to honor our past while embracing the future. We want to continue sharing the warmth, authenticity, and flavors of Southern Italy that our guests had come to love, but with a renewed vision and a fresh perspective.
With this in mind, we partnered with our talented new chef, David Leeder, whose creativity and expertise shaped a new menu that blends the best of traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist. His approach allows us to stay true to our roots while introducing exciting new flavours and culinary techniques.
Together, we’ve created a space that’s more than just a restaurant—it’s an Italian destination that feels both familiar and new.
We are beyond excited to be part of the vibrant Marda Loop community. It’s a place that’s known for its creativity, diversity, and strong sense of connection.
